Current Projects and Goals
Our community is facing a child-care crisis. It is next to impossible for local parents to find affordable, high-quality care for their children during work hours. Many childcare facilities in our community have shut their doors because the cost of overhead is impossible to maintain along with keeping and affording to pay high-quality and well-educated staff members. Our goal is to decrease the overhead costs of starting a childcare facility by potentially providing the space for facilities to run and through working with community business owners and employers to create business models in which learning centers and childcare facilities could exist within the work place. We also are working to help current providers improve the quality of their centers by offering early literacy resources and social emotional tools that they are able to utilize within their own facilities.
Launching our Littlest Learners
On Tuesday, May 25th, we'll be hosting our first ever Launching our Littlest Learners Event. This event is a collaboration of community partners who will be providing and handing out educational resources and tools for parents, caregivers, and childcare providers of 0-5 year old's to utilize over the summer months.

The mission of the Park County Early Childhood Coalition is to bring together like-minded community members and parents who have the best interest of our youngest community members at heart. Our partners work together to bring beneficial childhood opportunities to fruition through assessment of local needs, teamwork and determination. We demand a better future for our next generation.
