Why is Early Childhood so Important?
Early Childhood (birth to eight years old) is considered one of the most important times in a person's life. Believe it or not, babies are born ready to learn! In these early years, children develop at rapid rates. There is a staggering amount of brain development and growth. We as caregivers get to witness and support it all!
These first 8 years will define the outcomes for the rest of their life. Children who are supported, nurtured and have healthy, connected relationships with their caregivers are much more likely to succeed in kindergarten and beyond.

How can a community support healthy, connected children and families? This is a driving question in all that we pursue as a coalition. Children and caregivers need access to support systems that improve their mental and physical health, places within the community that they can feel seen, heard and welcomed. Space for children to gather, run, play and use their imagination. Let's help build this community village together.
